I'm 25 years old (turning 26 in July). I am currently living in White Plains I recently just graduated with my Masters of Social Work from Fordham University. The majority of my babysitting experience started during my undergraduate years in 2007 (in Rhode Island); I stayed with many families for those 4 years (into 2011) and babysat on a consistent basis for them. These positions included afternoon pick-ups, full-days, multiple days every week, date-nights, a few hours here and there, etc. Once I graduated, I became a paralegal (in Stamford, CT), and babysat for a few different families in that area. During the summer preceding my time as a paralegal, I was a camp counselor with children in the younger age-range (3 through 8). As a graduate student, my internships involved working with children and families (which is my main focus career-wise). One internship was at an elementary school, the Read more other was working with children in foster care. I babysat for many families, and on a very consistent basis, during the two-year period that I was in grad school full-time. I had positions that were across the board in terms of family needs and my schedule availability (morning drop-offs, pick up, full day, few hours, dinner, parks, play dates, night time routine, potty training, etc). One family was 3x per week, one family was 1x per week, the others were more-so on an as needed basis. Since graduation, my availability has changed, and I have unfortunately had to leave some of the families that I was with; which was honestly one of the hardest part about graduating for me. However, I am now available for early morning (before school) babysitting and occasional/date-night babysitting. Please also feel free to contact me if you need a "one-time" sitter - for just one specific date night or event or if you would need me more frequently during the evening hours, or early morning for school drop-offs. I love being around kids, playing games with them, reading to/with them, doing arts and crafts, and being active and creative. I have a ton of experience with bath time, bed time, diaper changing, etc. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have experience with newborns (2 weeks old) through 12 years old. I have a clean driving record and I have very reliable references. I would be more than happy to go into much further detail with you upon request.
