Turning 25, I have been working with children for the past 10 years and each and everyday I am so thrilled I chose this path! I have been tutor, baby sitter, nanny, celebrity nanny, and live-in weekend nanny. I first started as a counselor in training at a summer camp for children aged 6-12. I have a strong understanding of the general abilities and interests of the children this age. I have organized arts and crafts activities and sports activities for all children while taking part in them. Within the next few years, I was promoted to Head Counselor. During this time I was volunteering at the First Lego League, a robotics competition for children. I then began to tutor game programming to children for two summers and Read more during the school semester starting in 2016. I love teaching children Minecraft coding, drone programming, and app coding. I began to nanny throughout this time for a private family on the weekends. I organized and planned days, prepared meals, made up fun activities, and prepared children for bed. I was able to gain expertise in the 1-2-3 Magic disciplinary method and Waldorf teaching method. I was a babysitter for three more families after that including fully staffed homes and a weekend live in nanny position. Those duties included picking up children from school, preparing breakfast and lunch, and providing educational activities. I am very clean and perform household duties very well such as laundry, dishes, tidying up bedrooms and other areas of the house. I can help with any transportation necessities while being responsible for the well-being of children. I have years of experience working with children with behavioral issues. I have learned and mastered teaching children breathing techniques and how to recenter themselves while redirecting any anger or sadness. Along with my passion for working with children, I do have various activities that I enjoy. I love to work out so this includes anything from Soul Cycle, Barry's BootCamp, and Hot Yoga. I also skateboard and bike! I love to create short films and make short documentary recaps. I also enjoy drawing. I love to go to farmers markets and juice vegetables and fruit. Lastly, I have a superb skill for singing along to Disney soundtracks.
