Hey Everyone, I'm Diana. I am currently finishing my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and hoping to further my education in Special Education. I'm hoping to work with children one day and change their life's one child at a time. I have recently interned at a Therapeutic Child Center which consisted of participating in play therapy and assessing behavioral plans. The children I looked after ranged from the ages of 2-5 years old. We would have time to read, play, and do arts and crafts with the children. We would enforce that communication was very important and have the children express how they feel in every way possible. I have also worked as a Camp Counselor at a day camp caring for girls ranging from the ages of 10-13. As a Camp Counselor my duties consisted of getting the campers involved in various activities such as kickball, arts & crafts, and Read more swimming. Working with a group of 10 or more girls at a time was a challenge in which I took great responsibility. I managed to follow the camp schedule and made sure the girls would be having fun no matter what activity they chose to do. Forming bonds with the girls was a remarkable experience. I hope to one day to change many children’s lives as well as their parents who confined in me for taken care of their children.
