Over the years I have had many different experiences caring for children. In the summers of 2008 through 2010 I worked as a camp counselor in training in which I assisted in the supervision of children from ages 3 to 10. In the summers of 2011 through 2013 I then worked as a full time camp counselor where I worked with preschool children and supported a teacher in maintaining a classroom schedule and helping with activities such as arts and crafts, reading and other recreational activities. I have also babysat for multiple families in my neighborhood and I often also care for my younger cousins, who are one, seven and eight years old. While at school at Marist College I helped care for a four year old girl and six year old boy. I would help them get ready for school, make them breakfast and put them on the bus. Read more I would also pick them up from school, help with homework, take part in arts and crafts, etc. I also picked up a 15 year old boy and would drive him home from school. I would help him with home work, make dinner and spend time until his mom would get home from work.
