I love children. I bet everyone starts off their summary that way. I have cared for children of all ages, but especially newborns and infants. I really love the way they are such a clean slate and you see what they can learn and apply from one day to the next. It's exciting to be a part of that process. Many people have said that I should have been a teacher due to the love and patience that I show when I am around kids. I do have one adult child, 20 that I raised alone. I would have loved to have had more children but my husband died when my daughter was only 10 mos old. I possess knowledge in a great many areas and I love to pass that information along to kids in fun and creative ways. I like to explore and share experiences and make memories. I Read more love to do crafts, sing, dance, tickle, cuddle, collect bugs, go to the zoo, farms, museums, and teach. I am silly, spontaneous, creative and the day is never boring. I am like the clown that you hired for the birthday party. I have a theatre background and improvising comes naturally to me. That being said, I am very organized and anticipate the needs of the children in my care, so we don't have a meltdown. It takes a lot to get me frazzled, I have a lot of patience. I always make sure that their area is clean and most importantly safe. I can see a potential issue before it becomes one. Parents and children love me. I can't wait to hear from you.
