Hello! My name is Kathy and I'm a graduate student at Ithaca College, working towards my M.S. in childhood education. Once I've completed the program, I will receive certification to teach grades 1-6. My passion is working with children and I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 13. I have excellent references that I can provide upon request. I also spent time working at a day care when I was in high school and on summers/breaks from college, where I cared for children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. For my graduate program, I did my student teaching in 3rd and 4th grade classes, working with students in a variety of capacities. I taught lessons in ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science, providing developmentally appropriate instruction while establishing positive rapport with all students.
