Hi, my name is Shaye Miller. I am interested in babysitting for you In the upcoming school semester (beginning roughly around January 17th) I attend Cornell University, have my own reliable transportation and am extremely flexible. I would love to discuss my class schedule more in-depth with you!(It is rather consolidated Mon-Thurs and leaves my days quite free) I love working with children and have extensive experience! I have 10+ years of singing and theater experience, I enjoy outdoor activities and have many creative ideas from my years of experience with summer camps. I have been a camp counselor for multiple years during which I was responsible for 4-8 kids for 6 hours a day, Monday - Friday. I have in-home babysitting experience with kids ages 5 and up. Most notably I nanny for seven-year-old triplet boys during summer recess each year. The boys are all type one diabetics and Read more have attention deficit disorder which has been an extremely rewarding learning experience for me and can speak to how dedicated I am to provide any child with a positive and safe experience with me! I do in-home special education tutoring as well as have tutoring experience through an undergraduate program at Tulane University that provides free tutoring to public school students in New Orleans, Louisiana. I served as an activity director at the Rinx preschool and the children's cooking class (otherwise known as Edible Arts) instructor at the Hidden Pond Day Camp. I have a license and reliable car for transportation and most importantly, am a very cautious driver. Lastly, I have a (sometimes overly) friendly Boxer at home so pet care is not a problem, nor do I mind helping with housework.
