My interest in babysitting began young, acting as a "mothers helper" for friends and neighbors until I could care for children independently; and I continued babysitting through high school. I have since become CPR certified and spent a summer coaching at an active summer camp for students of all ages. Working at the summer camp rekindled my interest in child care. It also made me realize that I enjoy small group and one-on-one time with kids the most, as it allows me to give them my full attention. As an off-season, college student juggling summer projects and a full-time internship, babysitting is am ideal and full-filling part-time job. My studies focus on team, business, and community engagement. As strange as it sounds, I feel that the skills I have learned in keeping students and children engaged overlaps greatly with this work and is part of why I have developed an Read more interest in that field of work.
