My first experience working with children was being a Sunday School assistant at my previous church. I loved being around the children, helping them learn, and watching them have fun being kids. After that I worked with children all the time in various settings. As a teenager, I began to babysit for family and friends. I had always been more inclined to watch younger children such as 5 years old or younger. As I got older, I expanded that age range to elementary/middle school age and the occasional high school student. I have been a babysitter, a nanny, private tutor while working in classrooms, after school programs, and non-profit organizations. I recently attained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Family & Human Services with a track to Youth and Children. I am a family life educator on a provisional basis and have always been CPR/First Aid Certified.
