Hi there! I have been working with children for many years, starting around age 13 or 14. I have (and still) volunteer in a child based facility. I was a babysitter from age 16-18. I worked at a local playground program with children 5-13 years old over the summer. I currently work part time for a before and after school program with elementary school children, and I coach gymnastics part time. I am CPR and first aid certified. I also had a background check for this position. I started college at 16 and obtained my Associate’s Degree at 18. I am now working towards my Bachelor’s. I became a caregiver because I love working with children. I love my job because working with kids is rewarding. It does not feel like I am actually working because it is so enjoyable. My schedule is almost always consistent, though I can thoroughly explain it in person (I am temporarily filling in a morning shift, and my availability is slightly off because it does not match up with the time slots that are provided).
