I am a ABA supervisor and a certified school psychologist. I am interested in applying for the ABA instructor position. Included in this email is my resume for your review. I am currently employed by City Pro Group (an Early Intervention agency) as a Clinical ABA Supervisor. I provide services to children diagnosed with Autism (ages 1-3). I was also assigned to a special case to provided special services to a 12 year-old boy diagnosed with Aspergers. I am also attending Hunter College for my BCBA. I worked for SCO Family Services as an Applied Behavior Specialist in a residential school located in the Bronx. The Christopher School is a specialized school that is associated with the Office Read more of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). As an Applied Behavior Specialist I provide psychological services to individuals who resided at the Christopher School. All students were diagnosis as MR and were between the ages of 13-21. Some students had various disorders (ADHD, ODD, OCD, Mood disorder, Bipolar disorder, Autism, and learning disabilities). I provided supportive services to staff and management in order to assist in teaching behavioral strategies and interventions. During the first four months of working for the Christopher School, I also provided addition services to adults with the same diagnosis (ages 25-45) within a SCO residential program. Prior to this position I completed my internship at Martin De Porres Middle School in Springfield Gardens, New York. MDP is a private school that specializes in providing services for children classified as Emotionally Disturbed. During my internship I’ve provided psychological testing, individual counseling, group counseling, psycho-social evaluations and consultation. I also have experience working with adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, and PDD.
