Hello, My name is Manuela Ortiz and I have experience working at a daycare for the past 7 years and my role has changed as time has passed. When I first started, I spent most of my time directing and caring for children every day. These roles included creating activities, meal planning, growth and development, preventive measures for injury and sickness, as well as record keeping, and phone reception. I received so much joy and happiness with every moment I spent with them. I really enjoy caring for, playing with, and teaching children. As they grow, so do I. More recently, I have taken on more of an administrative role within the daycare. Although my new position has been challenging and exciting, I've really missed the interaction of working with children directly.
