Since I was 7 years old I have helped my mom with her daycare in our home and also with the 70+ foster children we have taken into our home. I have experience with children that have disabilities and that also need to be medicated on a daily basis. Caring for children comes natural for me and I think that it why over the summer I was promoted to supervisor at the local you and recreation program at the Lockport City parks. Not only did I supervise the children in the parks but I also supervised the other workers and I was in charge of distributing lunches. I hope this gives a little more perspective of my experience with children.
