Hi my name is Mary and I'm a junior in college looking for a summer job! I'm very experienced with children because I am a gymnastics coach for young children ages 1-7+ (Including special needs children). I absolutely love working with kids and having completed my major in psychology I feel highly qualified in understanding their needs as well as keeping them entertained, happy, and comfortable. I am also an education minor and aspire to be a school counselor or teacher. At SUNY Albany I participate in a peer counseling program called Middle Earth where I am trained in counseling other students via hotline which provides me with experience in communication as well as aiding people with various concerns/disabilities/disorders etc. I have had previous babysitting jobs as well as experience watching my younger cousins often. In my current position as a gymnastics coach I have quite a bit of experience Read more in exercising safety guidelines as well as preparing first aid kits. I am qualified to watch several children at a time, keeping them safe and occupied on gym equipment which makes me feel confident that I can be successful keeping children safe and occupied as a babysitter. I also have experience as a waitress, barista, cashier, and a model at Hollister. I can cook, I am very neat and don't mind cleaning, doing laundry, or washing dishes and I have my own car. I also have a dog and two cats and I am comfortable with animals. My CPR certification has recently expired but I am in the process of renewing it.
