I am a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (University of Rochester's conservatory program) and have lived in New York City these past three years singing and working. I am originally from Carmel, California, but figure that NYC is the best place to gain life experience and practice in my field--classical singing. I love caring for children. I have babysat and nannied regularly for a number of families here in New York City with children of varying ages (9 months to 9 years!) so I would consider myself well-experienced. These past two years, I have been a regular after school sitter for 5-year old twins which has been an adventure! Sadly, this wonderful family is relocating to Westchester, so I am looking to expand my services to another. It is very special for me to develop a bond and true friendship with kids that lasts well into the future. I Read more am a creative person, proficient in French with basic knowledge in German and Italian, and love to teach children about classical music and the arts. Education is key, and I am readily available to help with homework in just about every subject. I promote healthy eating, being a vegetatarian, but fully understand that children need a wide range of nutrients as well as the occasional treat. :) I am adamant about leading a healthy, happy, and creative life style. It would be a joy to aid in the development of your child(ren)!
