I am a graduate of LeMoyne College with my Bachelor's in Psychology. Since graduating in 2000, I worked for 10 years in the field of mental health. My work involved assisting individuals and families with all aspects of their lives. In 2010, my personal life demanded that I pursue work which allowed me to spend more time working based from home, which I now do. I have been studying pottery for 4 years now and am selling my work online and in stores. I am a strong believer in art as beneficial to all people, but especially children, and love to work on projects with them. I also value playing interactive that engage kids. I also value time spent outdoors when weather permits. To me this is the key to keeping them interested and involved. I have experience babysitting and caring for children of all ages, including my own son, Read more who is 10 years old. My approach is gentle and consistent. I know through my experiences that it is very important to meet a child where they are developmentally and also be in line with what the expectations of the parents are. One of my goals would be making sure that my time spent with your child or children would allow you a smooth transition to spending time with them.
