I had started out in the childcare world 3 yrs ago with taking care of 2 boys ages 2 and 5.Then soon they reached their schooling years and I was no longer needed full days and grandma was able to help out. I then started to care for a 4 month old baby girl and her 1.5 yr old sister. I have been watching the girls for the past 3 years. I also watch 2 boys ages 14 months and 4 yrs old one day a week as well for the past year. Since I only work 2 or 3 full days a week I am looking to work other weekdays for another family. I ensure they are eating , kept in dry diapers, getting outside on nice days, involved with a craft activity. I also aide in nap time and potty training as instructed and of course playtime. I Read more tend to the children's cleanliness, laundry and appearance as well as their safety at all times. I am a retiree from a 27 yr banking career and now rather fulfill my time tending to children than adults. I have been watching my family and friends children for years and each time gaining more experience. The 3 families mentioned are my first paid care giver jobs. My maturity, my life experiences and professional education makes me a level headed ,patient ,caring,trustworthy and respectful person. I also had taken care of my late chocolate lab dog for 14 years which makes me a caring dog person as well. Thank you for your time. P.S. I also cared for another family (4 yr old and 7 yr old) one day a week last year but as soon as their son started kindergarten in Sept., I was no longer needed for full day work which I am seeking now.
