Hi!! My name is Liz and I love babysitting. I am CPR/AED certified and I have been training in Ju Jitsu for 13 years and I used to assist in teaching children martial arts. I also ran a self defense workshop at my school. During the past few summers, I worked as a counselor at a local nursery school. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have 7 years of experience. I was a nanny for a whole summer and I have babysat during the morning, day, after school, date nights during the week and weekend, and overnights. I can stay as long as you need me. I have a younger brother who is 11 years old and I have many young family members that have enabled me to have a lot of experience with children. I am 22 years old and I am a recent Read more graduate from Adelphi University. I am a mature and independent young woman. I am a graduate from the FBI Teen Academy and I have a strong involvement with law enforcement since I come from a family who works in law enforcement. I have my own car so I don't mind driving at all, I am a safe driver and very comfortable with kids in the car. I am a punctual person. I love animals so if you have a cat, dog, or any other animal, I will give them love and care as well! I don't just sit around, text, or put the TV on for the kids. I love to playing games, doing arts&crafts, and I also love to take walks and go places such as parks, museums, movies, etc. I live in North Merrick, go to school in Garden City, and I don't mind babysitting for anyone within a 10 mile radius. If there is some driving that is more than 5 miles, I usually ask for some gas money. I charge between $12-15 an hour, depending on the number of kids, ages, and how far away you live. I have experience with newborns to 13 years old, and I have experience babysitting multiple children and children with special needs. Liz T. has been babysitting for our 7yo daughter and 13yo son for several months. In this time, Liz quickly became the greatest babysitter we have seen. She is beyond amazing. Liz is completely reliable and is always on time. She nurtures our kids and treats them like they are members of her own family. Liz may only be 18, but she is more mature and intelligent than the other babysitters we previously hired who were ten years older. Liz is very polite and respectful. My kids love when me and my wife hire her. They have the greatest times with her. Liz is totally hands on. Me and my wife feel like Liz is our own daughter. She is also like a big sister to our kids. In addition , we have 2 dogs. One large one. Liz is great with our dogs and the pets love her. She sits for us into the overnight. At times we have her up to 4 days a week and anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. She is the only sitter we would trust if we went away on a weekend. We have been through 5 other babysitters. Liz is better than all 5 put together. She is truly a rare find.
