As a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature and a minor in Linguistics, my studies have focused on the area of foreign languages incorporated with childhood education and development. I am particularly interested in educational advocacy, nonprofit development and making a difference in the lives of underprivileged students to help guide them on a path to future success. For as long as I can remember, I have always known that my life mission is to help those who are not as fortunate as I am. My goal is to make an impact in the lives of others, particularly the youth population and the future leaders of America. As a well-rounded, charismatic young woman, I have traveled to various countries that have provided me with life-changing experiences that have opened my eyes immensely. Along with volunteering with various nonprofit organizations, I Read more have tutored students in the ESL Program at a High School and I have partnered with the Development Director of a non-profit organization to write a general operating funds grant. During Spring 2011, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain with a Teaching Development Program and taught English to 3-year-old Spanish speakers. I am a determined, dedicated, hard worker who loves to inspire and motivate others to achieve happiness. I am extremely friendly, outgoing and very easy to approach. With my enthusiasm, energy and fun-loving personality, I am the perfect fit for child care and education. With my communication skills and problem solving ability, I am prepared for any challenge that may come my way!
