Hello, My name is Kim Quiroz. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I guess you can say it's a family business as my mother is a nanny and housekeeper for a family full time, all year round. I have had the chance to watch her work and have taken a few key things away from that. She always treats the children as if they are her own. It takes a special person to love someone else's kids that way. She also always ensures that the children are entertained in an engaging, productive way. I have applied these key principles to my own experiences and have had nothing but happy kids and happy parents. I'd like to continue by telling you a bit about myself. I am currently in my final semester at the University of Albany to obtain my Bachelor's in Sociology. I am bilingual with Read more Spanish and am always happy teaching it to the children I care for. Some of the things that I enjoy are trips to the zoo or museum for a day of learning, making arts and crafts to foster creativity and playing various thought-provoking indoor games. I feel that I am the perfect balance of responsibility and fun -- the kids are always excited to see me because they know theyll be challenged yet never bored while the parents can be assured that their kids are in the best of hands.
