Young at heart and wise in care taking. Thats how I see myself and how I approach taking care of children. I love watching and nurturing a child’s creativity, exploration and knowledge-building flourish through playful yet meaningful games. Activities I love doing with the kids include: arts & crafts (ex. drawing, painting, play dough, etc.), making up stories together, finding fun ways to do homework and learn for school and really whatever the kids like to do. I am very creative and I love love love kids! As an older sister who was often asked to babysit her young sister - I learned how to balance being a friend and a supervisor. I spent a lot of my time during my undergraduate education in International Relations & Economics working part time as a baby-sitter. I also work in photography and film - so I will be sure to take a Read more couple of snapshots of the kids and the whole family (: I am from Germany originally and through my work as a filmmaker and photographer have seen many parts of the world. These experiences are often the foundations for imaginative and explorative stories I love to tell and make up together with the kids. I love kids, I see in them the potential for a better future for our whole world. So I see it as particularly vital to nurture kids in a fulfilling way. I love to fill them with love and happiness and seeing their minds expand and their understanding of the world grow.
