Meet Hayley

I grew up in a large family as one of the older children, and have many neices and nephews. Outside of caring for younger family members, I have been babysitting on a regular basis since the age of 12 for friends, coworkers, and employers. I have experience caring for a boy with type 1 diabetes and night epilepsy so I know how to handle unique medical conditions and emergencies while staying calm and thinking clearly. I minored in Spanish in college, which could be beneficial when caring for a child or children of a Spanish speaking family, or if Spanish tutoring were needed. And as a Vocal Jazz major in college, I have the knowledge and the ability to engage the child or children in musical activities. I was a camp counselor for two years at an all girls church camp, and for three years at a music camp (I Read more was counselor for girls ages 12-16). To prepare for this responsibility, I did some light training in first aid and have outdoor survival skills. I love to read and spend time outdoors exploring this beautiful city's parks, neighborhoods, and museums, too!
