Hello! I’m a current SUNY New Paltz Biology student that is graduating in December and have quite a bit of child care experience under my belt. I started in high school, watching young members of my family. This progressed to routinely babysitting a 4, 6, and 12 year old while I wasn’t in school. I decided to take my experience elsewhere working as an au pair in Italy over the summer for two pre-teen girls, teaching them English as well as watching them daily. I even went back a for a second year to the same family. I love working with younger children, and I am becoming very acquainted with Montessori techniques. I have tutored middle school aged children (emphasis in ELA/writing, life sciences, common core math, and algebra) in the past, providing homework help. I like to have a lot of fun with the children I babysit, and creating Read more cool things to do with them like baking, arts and crafts, and science experiments.
