Meet Jelisha

• Comfortable with pets

I am single 24 year old female, who has graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor's of Art in Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development. It dawned on my early in my college career that working with children would bring me the greatest joy each day. I have had the privilege to work with numerous amount of children in different atmospheres and have found one on one time with children is what I am best at, such as babysitting. After working in the summer camp and babysitting, I found that it was within these environment that children are most comfortable to be themselves. I want to be able to still make a difference in their lives, but also have fun while doing so. I think that still being a kid at heart and being really goofy has made it much easier for me to enjoy what I Read more do. In addition to working at a summer camp and a babysitter, I have worked in establishments such as Family Enrichment Network Binghamton, NY and Institute of Child Development in Binghamton, NY. Both opportunities have allowed me to understand children in a school setting, however the latter was work with special needs students. Although I am only fluent in English, I make up for it in other skills such as being very organized, extremely patient, adventurous, and being great at following recipes.
