Hello! My name is Emma, I am 21 years old and recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and two minors in Art History and Chemistry. I am looking for a full-time position starting as early as July. My experience childcare experience began when I was 12 years old. Ever since, I have provided childcare for many families, have spent five summers teaching at The Georgetown Palace Theater Education Program, and have served as a volunteer tutor with The New York Center for Children. Raised by educators, I grew up in an environment that valued imagination, creativity and learning through play. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I was very active in community theater and music, and I love integrating my background with the kids I babysit, particularly through games and storytelling. I also love reading to kids, helping with homework, and going on outdoor excursions. I have worked with children with various learning barriers and disabilities. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have completed a college level child development course.
