I'm the responsible go-to sitter in my family, always tasked with occupying and caring for my five younger cousins whether that involved playing board games, helping with homework or building Lego castles. I have a variety of volunteer experience, as a member of Generation Citizen, I volunteered as a Democracy Coach and taught civics to high school students at the Business of Sports School in Midtown Manhattan. Additionally, I spent time at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, visiting patients and assisting them as best I could in my capacity as a volunteer. This kind of experience led me to pursue a career focused on helping people, particularly one in medicine. I graduated Fordham University this past May with a Bachelors in Natural Science and recently accepted a position at NYP beginning in mid-august. I'm hoping to fill the downtime I have with babysitting.
