Meet Julia

I have always had a passion for children ever since i was a young girl. At the age of twelve, I became an aunt for the first time. As time has passed I now have two nieces and three nephews. At one point in time my two sisters were single mothers and we all lived together. Every time i would come home from school, it was natural for me to come home and help with the children. Family has always been everything to me. When helping with the kiddos, this included engaging in age appropriate activities, caring for them (such as feeding, bathing, and changing them) and put them to bed, after reading some of their favorite books. I have always loved getting creative with them. Since then, I have completed my bachelors, currently in the process of obtaining my masters degree in school counseling over at Long Island University. Read more I was a social worker for children in foster care, and was also a socio therapist for foster care children as well. I have experience in caring for youth of all ages as well as youth who are diagnosed with various disabilities, both physical and intellectual. I would bring nothing but laughter, fun and joy, and would hope to bring them happiness, and light through these difficult times :)
