Previously, I worked as a part-time teacher at Montessori Day School. At Montessori, I made sure that children's needs were met, teaching them significant life skills including sharing, communicating and associating with one another respectfully. Other responsibilities as a teacher were encouraging independence in children and self-confidence. These are qualities that will affect them from childhood to adulthood. Previously I've cared for my younger sisters from the infant stage to age 10 as well as neighborhood children. As a high school student, I was a camp counselor for a toddler summer camp program where I was responsible for dance activities, supervising the water-slide, lunch and nap time. I hope with the wide experience I've acquired over the years, I'll be the perfect candidate to care for your child.
