I'm Gabby and I recently graduated from Boston College. I am working at an accounting firm in NYC but will have availability to sit during weeknights and on weekends. I started mother's helping in fifth grade and ever since, I have been babysitting a ton. In addition to babysitting, I worked at an emergency shelter for children who have experienced trauma such as abuse and neglect during college. Through this position, I have worked with children ages newborn to 12 and have gained experience with kids who have special needs and extreme behavioral issues. I am also Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certified. Previous experience with children include: teaching a first grade class at my church, volunteering in a home where children on respirators reside, and spending time with children at a homeless shelter. Because I have babysat for so many families and worked with many other kids in the community, I Read more am comfortable watching all ages and am confident in my ability to care for multiple kids at once. I really enjoy spending time with kids and am an active babysitter where I encourage sports, games, and crafts as opposed to screen time. Most of the families that I have babysat for have become my "little siblings" so I am looking forward to seeing if I am a good fit for your family!
