Meet Kiri

My background as an art educator has made me a great baby sitter. As a teacher I have taught elementary, middle and high school students Visual and Digital Art. I am certified by New York State Department of Education as a Visual Art teacher and Career and Technical Education Teacher in the Commercial Arts. Using various artistic techniques and media, I developed projects to empower students to reach the highest level of achievement. As a baby sitter, I mimic these projects. My clients have praised me for their creativity and have told me that their children were engaged. My leadership skills have enabled my students to exhibit, publish, compete and participate in specialized art programs. My elementary students competed in the Penny Harvest competition. My high school students websites are published in Davis Publications textbook "Communicating through Graphic Design" by Kevin Gatta and Claire Mowbray Golding ISBN: 978-0-87192-988-4. Other high Read more school students won awards for desktop publishing and digital photography at the New York City Vocational High School Graphic Art competitions in 2007, 2009 and 2011. Due to my classroom management skills I have learned how to negotiate with parents and their children. As a fine artist, I have exhibited my works of art at galleries in Soho and Chelsea. I seek to provide real-life and meaningful connections for my clients by sharing my fine art background with my clients.
