Throughout my young adult life I was continually drawn to working with children, wether it was helping my mom throughout the morning at her preschool or dedicating a summer to instilling confidence and creativity in girls 7 to 16 as the Drama Department head at Red Pine Camp for Girls. As the oldest child in my family, the idea of caring for others was instilled in me at a very young age. I grew up looking after my two younger sibling, Megan and Noah and then went on to babysit many of my younger cousins. At age 13 I was safe sitter certified and my career as a babysitter grew from there. In addition to babysitting into my college years and beyond, I found myself volunteering at summer camps and stepping into choreograph and lead dance auditions at the same local children's theatre company I first started performing in. As Read more a performer one of my main goals is to positively effect the masses, by both entertaining and shedding light on the human experience. I believe it is a similar core value that carries over into my mindset as a caregiver. It brings me joy to care for others, to help them through life's challenges and share with them life's blessings. More than the simple joy it brings me to looks after kids and their amusing antics, there is the joy it brings me to make a positive difference in their lives.
