Hi. My name is Christal. I am originally from Bergen County, New Jersey but have been living in New York for about 8 years. I've worked as a caregiver with children of all ages (infants to middle-school age). I enjoy working with children very much, finding that actively engaging children and helping them grow/develop is the most rewarding part of the job. I consider myself to be energetic, smart, and patient. I am comfortable with all aspects of newborn/infant care, toddler care, and caring for school-aged children. I am comfortable commuting with children, whether we are heading to classes or a simple walk in the local park. I genuinely love teaching kids new things and helping them learn/work through their developmental milestones. I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school-aged children as well (mostly in mathematics and Spanish language). I am a big fan of books, puzzles, and games.
