I always babysat during the summer for various families down at the jersey shore; however, this summer I am looking for a babysitting job in New York City. As the oldest of three, I grew up watching my younger siblings and have always enjoyed working with kids. Last summer I worked for a family with two girls (ages 8 and 11) and would work from 8:30 a.m. until around 7:30 p.m. I drove them to their various activities and lessons, brought them to the beach/pool, and worked on their summer homework with them. While in college, I also volunteered at a local elementary school in a second grade class and helped the students with their school work. In September, I start medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina, so I am looking for a summer job to save some money before school.
