After I became babysitter certified (specialized in CPR and First Aid) I began taking care of my neighbors and friend's siblings. Now, almost 10 years later, I teach violin and tutor to all age groups. I pride myself in being comfortable with all age groups and being the friend and parental figure that my caregivers had for me growing up. As a Drama major at New York University, entering my senior year, I have learned through many different mediums the importance of communication and understanding. Before entering college, I taught and tutored underprivileged children in Nashville, TN. Two summers after leaving the south, I traveled to Ecuador where I taught Theater to children in the dangerous city of Esmeraldas. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I was excited to put my language and my communication skills to the test. Other babysitting experience includes traveling in house with families on vacation, taking Read more care of multiple children and age groups at a time, and assisting new borns. Most importantly, though, I love what I do. Meeting and taking on the responsibility for children of all walks of life is something I have loved and will continue to do throughout my various careers. To top it off, I'm pretty darn fun. :)
