I believe that a childcare provider plays an important role in a child’s life. I treat all children the way I would if they were my own. It is a privilege to be able to assist in a child’s development and I strive to foster long-term relationships with families. I have experience with caring for multiple children at once as well as those with special needs. I enjoy being around children of all ages, sharing new experiences with them & teaching them new things. While caring for children I am always interacting with the child whenever I can. I love to read books, sing/dance with them, create games, and design arts and crafts. I do my very best to ensure that the children I care for feel comfortable with me. I am respectful of children’s feelings and the values that are important to the family. I have eleven years experience Read more as a babysitter/nanny and seven years experience as an assistant teacher in both preschool and elementary school. In my spare time I am working toward completing my college degree, exploring our incredible city and taking photos of the beautiful things I encounter every day. I believe a positive attitude is incredibly important and that children deserve that from me when I care for them! Please note that due to the seriousness of the Covid-19 pandemic, I practice social distancing and wear a mask around others in my private life and kindly request that in my place of work as well. I would wear a mask and respectfully ask that the children I care for do as well, unless they are under two years or unless we are outside, six feet apart from one another.
