Hi families, My name is Mengyin Lin. I was born and raised in Beijing, China. I moved to New York to attend New York University in 2010 and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/TV Production and Art History. I am working to be a professional screenwriter. My professional resume and references are available upon request. My childcare experience include - After-school sitting for 3 girls (two 8-year-old twin sisters and one 5-year-old), duties include helping with their school homework (math, social studies, reading), speaking to them in Mandarin and help with their Mandarin homework (writing and conversational), helping them with piano practice (I started practicing piano since 9). Occasional night-sitting for two 4-year-old twin boys since they were 2 years old, duties include putting them to bed and make sure they sleep through the night. Occasional babysitting and mother's helper for a brother and a Read more sister in a household with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Once a week play time with 1-year-old, speaking to her in Mandarin and play piano for her. I enjoy having conversations with kids and offer the best I have, becoming a part of their life and experience and helping them understand the world. I own a cat and a dog both of who I raised from when they were 2 months old. Personally I enjoy reading, cooking, classics music, yoga, movies, running, volunteering with animals, traveling the world. I am located in Midtown West, Manhattan and my rate would depend on how many kids there are and how convenient you're located. Ideally I'm looking for 20-25 hours a week.
