Hello all! My name is Lydia and I am seeking babysitting jobs in the New York City metro area. I am a recent transplant to Manhattan from New Hampshire. While I am undergoing the process to become licensed with New York City's DOE, I am available to babysit your children at your place, or my place- a spacious studio in Manhattan. I possess 1.5 years of former childcare experience within an early childhood center. I also possess 1.5 years of contract teaching experience for an elementary and middle school as well. Additionally, I am currently enrolled in a Graduate Degree program to receive my Masters in Library and Information Science. I enjoy instructing and babysitting children aged 0 and up. I believe in total engagement with young children, which means meeting them at their level with playtime on the floor or at a table and no distractions with technological devices.
