Hi there! My name is Kelly, and I appreciate you taking the time to consider me as a possible caregiver for your little one(s)! I have my Masters degree from Bank Street College Of Education in child life--a career that works with children in the hospital, helping them understand and cope with their illnesses and procedures. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx where I utilize my degree and training to ensure that every parient and family is comfortable during and knowledgeable about their hospital experience. Making a difference and caring for children is such a strong passion of mine and has been for as long as I can remember. In addition to my studies and career path, I have been an overnight camp counselor, a tutor, a babysitter, a nanny and a preschool teacher. After obtaining my Masters degree, I Read more also spent 6 months volunteering with children in Tanzania and Israel. I believe that a caregiver should be more than just a supervisor; they should be a companion/friend/playmate/confidant for the child.
