I am a certified Teacher's Assistant. I've been working at Miss Francine's Day School for 10+ years in Bronx, Ny. I will be attending college sometime in April to finish my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I love my job because it allows me to build different relationships with kids. Many of the kids I work with have language barriers. During the end of every school year it amazes me how much they've learned a new language. One of my students (who was only speaking Spanish) who started in September of 2017' is now speaking English in complete sentences. He said to me "Ms. Antionette, I am so proud and happy because you understand me." Most times you won't get a thank you or a compliment. It's the kids that bring light in your life.
