I have been around children my whole life. I grew up the oldest sibling and the oldest cousin in a family that is still having more children to this day. The count is up to 25 grandchildren and I am the oldest of all of them and with that comes a lot of responsibility. I grew up helping out at a daycare during the summer and was always involved in children's camps and even was a junior camp counselor at sleep away YFC and drama camps. Since moving to the city I wanted to have a job in childcare because it's where I feel most comfortable and at home. I have had a couple families in the past two years that I have taken care of consistent. The first was an 11 month old when I first started with her and she is now two. I pick her up from Read more daycare, take her home, make sure she is fed, cleaned up, and put to bed. The next is a little boy in Kindergarten and I have had him for a full calendar year starting in July 2017. I pick him up from school and take care of him until his parents are home. Lastly, I have joined a agency since moving to New York called Broadway Babysitters and through that I have watched kids of all ages on a more day to day basis when my schedule is free. Through this agency I have been CPR certified and we also take course in how to watch and care for kids with special needs. I am an artist living in the city and would love to become a part of your child's life in the most positive way!
