My name is Rebecca Love and I am currently looking for some babysitting hours! I currently work as a dance/movement psychotherapist full time - I graduated from Pratt Institute in 2014 where I received my MS in dance/movement therapy. Previous to my graduate program, I worked with a family for 2.5 years as a full time nanny for two small children, one of which had special needs. Before my most recent family, I spent 3 years working for an additional family- (part time while at Hunter College receiving my BA, full-time in the summer in the Hamptons). The children ranged in age from 2-13 years old. I have also had extensive experience with children with special needs, working as a camp counselor for two years as well as a Movement therapist at a therapeutic nursery school (The League Treatment and Education Center in Brooklyn. (I have also completed my masters Read more thesis on dance therapy and the Autism Spectrum.) I have continued my work with children as a contract therapist for an organization called The Frienship Circle which is an inclusive program for special needs children, where I facilitate movement therapy groups. I additionally have been sitting for a family on the upper west side for the past three years, chicken ages 7 and 12.
