I am a 26 year female who graduated from Providence College in 2013. I have been babysitting since I was in middle school and have done a wonderful job for a number of families since then. I nannied full time for a bit after graduating from college before serving two years at Cristo Rey NY High School in East Harlem as part of their full time volunteer program through Americorps. I gained valuable experience during my time here working with a high school population, and would be happy to assist your children with any of my additional skills in tutoring, mentoring and coaching. I also babysat for a number of families on weekends during my time there. I am currently a clinical research coordinator at Columbia University Medical Center, and was recently accepted to their Masters Direct Entry Program to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am CPR and First Aid Read more certified through the American Red Cross, so your children are in great hands! In my spare time I like to go to the beach, read, and run. I am great with kids, and love animals. I am energetic and will enjoy doing activities that will keep your kids active!

My husband and I are an excellent judge of character and we chose Tara based on her answers to our questions and her body language. When I leave our children (5yr old and 11mths) I feel confident that she is more than capable of making good decisions if a situation arrises. The first day Tara sat for us it was just for our baby (9mths)and she immediately sat on the floor and played with her. When I arrived home Tara told me that she was playful but kept lying down on a pillow. Tara took her and lyed her down in her bed. She did not cry for Tara (surprisingly). The point of this story is that she was able to read my child and her needs. My five yr old absolutely adores her and looks forward to her coming every week. They play puzzles, watch movies, and do hair together. Tara is the ideal babysitter for any age. I definetely recommend her and has been our sitter for just over two months.
