I have almost 10 years of experience as a part time and full time nanny for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. In addition to nannying, I have also taught preschool, done children's theatre, and ran non-profit summer programs for foster youth. My former employers describe me as patient, nurturing, responsible, and fun. I am comfortable establishing routines, assisting in sleep training, potty training, dealing with separation anxiety, preparing meals, changing diapers, and everything else that goes along with providing a nurturing environment. Because I went to culinary school, I love to introduce cooking and baking to children and also encourage creativity through arts n crafts projects and imaginative play. I think it's important for babies and children to spend as much as possible outside experience the world, and New York City is a great place for that.

She was always on time, always reliable, and always kind and caring with my son (and my 4 year old daughter, as well, on the days she was home from preschool and Allison took care of both kids).
