- Comfortable with pets
I'm currently a full-time student at John Jay College studying Forensic Psychology, and have recently moved to the Upper East Side. I do not currently babysit for any family on a regular basis; but I have experience babysitting two children with ADHD and another family with an 8 year old son who had Aspergers. I have babysat for kids ages 5 months to 13 years, and for families with pets. I have a pitbull and have had cats in the past; I love pets, and can usually get along with all dogs. I have volunteered at a juvenile detention center and a homeless shelter where I helped the kids do homework and did various activites with them such as play games and do arts and crafts. I really enjoy exploring new places, cooking/baking, doing arts and crafts, reading, and playing games. I played soccer forever ten years, as well Read more as softball and swimming, I enjoy all sorts of physical activities. I am great at encouraging kids to balance work with play, and I always emphasize the importance of academics as well as extracurriculars.
