I grew up in a household filled with children (18 brothers and sisters). My parents were always very big on family. For a very long time now i knew that i wanted to work with children and growing up in such a big household has proven that to me because i am a proud aunt of 16 children and i've happily taken care of most of them. By the time i was in high school i started to apply for positions in daycares and babysitting jobs and also babysat (over-night included) for family members and friends of family. i used to work at a daycare for two years (during the school year) for children ages 3-13. I helped them with their homework, took them out to the park, library and on trips to the zoo. I'm currently a college student going for my undergraduate degree in English with a concentration Read more in pre-law. During my college career, i've tutored children on and off in literature and babysat an infant from the time he was born till now (he is 1 and 2 months old). I love caring for children, it truly is when i'm the happiest. I also have taken care of pets (cats, dogs and horses) throughout my college career so I'm completely comfortable with pets.
