My name is Brigitte and I am from Queens, NY. I am a senior at Hunter College studying to become a registered nurse. I have various types of experience working with children. During my clinical rotation at a pediatric unit at New York Presbyterian hospital I worked along side an RN taking care of children from newborn - 15 years old with varying illnesses. I am also CPR certified. Outside of nursing, I have taken care of children professionally for 5 years. I took care of my younger cousins and neighbors children. I would take them to their playdates, take them to the park, pick up / drop off from school. I have 2 younger siblings (8 & 10 years old) that I have taken care of since they were young. I have also volunteered at MAChO, which is a grassroots obesity prevention program targeting children ages 8-13 in disadvantaged Read more communities.
