In high school, I babysat for a family of three children ages 4, 7, and 11. I helped the 7 and 11 year olds off the bus after school, fed them, helped them with their homework, and played with them; I also watched the 4 year old along with the other two children on weekends when needed. I was a counselor at a day camp for 2.5-5 year old children for 3 summers, so I am comfortable with diapers and everything that a young child requires. I still babysit here and there, but would like a steady and consistent job for the summer. I am interested in working in the medical field in the future and specializing in pediatrics due to my passion to help and have a positive influence in children's lives. I also would like to gain more experience with children because of this.
