I am an ex-school teacher who recently moved to the area. I am ready for a change and am specifically looking for part-time work that would allow me to still work with children in a meaningful way and to spend some time with my aging parents. I have experience teaching children of many ages, from pre-school to grade 6. I worked in general education settings as well as special education settings. I am the mother of 2 wonderful young men who are both in college. I am energetic, so I welcome extra household tasks to help out a busy family. I believe in being calm, respectful, loving, and consistent with children. A babysitter is a critical part of a child's world and should be chosen with great care. I would love the opportunity to provide fun, loving, structured care to your children in your absence.
