Ever since I could remember, I have always had strong connection with children. I loved being around other kids, helping them, playing with them and most importantly having fun. Kids have always been drawn to me because of my friendly personality. I was a mother’s helper since I was 10 years old to a 4 year old girl and a new born baby; and to say the least it was most rewarding and enjoyable experience. I also was a camp counselor this past summer to a group of 5 and 6 year olds and enjoyed every second of “work”. I have a lot of patience, considering one of my very good friends from high school had Down syndrome, and being around her has taught me a lot.
