Greetings! I’m a teacher at the Miami-Dade County Public Schools district and am spending my summer in New York to be close to family and friends. I’m here until August 10, 2023 and it would be my pleasure to care for your little one/s. I've had the opportunity to care for newborns through age 11. Throughout my experience in doing so, I made sure the children were properly taken care of and performed tasks such as cleaning up after them while also teaching them the importance of tidying up after themselves. I prepared meals throughout the day and provided stimulating and engaging activities to do indoors and outdoors. I also made sure to incorporate nap time to keep a structure in their daily lives. I am an artistic person, so I like to share my talents. I can sing, draw, paint and write poetry, so there's never a dull moment Read more with me. Besides that, I can make learning fun when I have to teach children how to read the alphabet. I still remember how to recite the alphabet and the days of the week in Spanish. I learned those songs when I was in the 7th grade, so I always have a blast with that. I currently hold a master's in teaching and have been working in the field of education since 2019. I’ve taught kinder through 12th grade, special education, so I am well-versed in teaching all ages. I am patient, kind and extremely understanding (my name means understanding). I also enjoy watching a variety of TV shows and movies during my spare time. I like to read, write, hike and visit art exhibitions.
